The HDTV tuner card from Digital Devices MAX SX8 Basic - (DVB-S2 / DVB-S2X 4/8) is for the PCI Express slot with eight TV tuners (four full-spectrum tuners with eight DVB-S / S2 / S2X demodulators enable the simultaneous reception of 8 complete DVBS / S2 / S2X transponders). The ultra-compact design of the HDTV card from Digital Devices, your low power consumption (approx. 7 watts), the flexible choice of operating mode as well as Unicable and JESS support enable you to use it flexibly in any solution situation. The Digital Devices MAX SX8 can be expanded with an Octopus Single-CI or Octopus Twin-CI card for PCIe. Of course, a Flex-CI connected to a cine or octopus bridge can also be used.

The Digital Devices MAX SX8 Basic can be expanded with an Octopus Single-CI or Octopus Twin-CI card for an additional PCIe. Usable under Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8 (.1) as well as Windows 10 and Linux, the Digital Devices MAX SX8 HDTV card can be individually adapted to the environment by flexibly selecting the operating mode.

Operation of the MAX SX8 Basic HTDV tuner card in quad mode
In "Quad" operating mode, the card can be connected to Quad LNBs or 4-way multiswitches and supports a satellite. When using a Quattro LNB or the master output of a multiswitch, the operating mode "Quattro" can be selected for a satellite. (Both operating modes only require 4 cables for 8 tuners, thanks to the integrated multiswitch)

Operation of the MAX SX8 Basic HDTV tuner card in single-cable mode
In the "single cable" operating mode, the card can be used via an antenna cable via Unicable (prerequisite: Unicable® / SCR / CENELEC En50494 compliant LNB or multiswitch according to En50494) or JESS (prerequisite: Jess® / CENELEC En50607 compliant LNB or multiswitch according to En50607) Support operated. When using Unicable® up to 8 tuners and for JESS® up to 32 tuners can be supplied via an antenna cable. Multiple satellites are supported in this mode. (In this operating mode you only need 1 cable at port 1 for 8 tuners, thanks to the integrated multiswitch)
